The brand Rosemarie Sutherland is Canadian based company, that is manufactured in Brampton Ontario, the fabrics and notions are all made in North America, The fabrics are hand picked yearly to ensure style and superior quality 100% preshrunk cotton designer prints. After construction each piece is hand checked, for quality and durability.

Timeline

  • 1970-Where it all started

    My inspiration came from my grandmother, the late Recilda Philips. She worked various jobs to provide for her family, and she taught me how to be creative with a sewing needle at the early age of 7.

  • 1982-Motivation and next steps

    This motivation drove me to complete the fashion arts program at C.W Jeffrey’s, Fashion Designing at George Brown College, and finally pushed me to start manufacturing my clothing in Canada.

  • 1993-Sharing my love for fashion

    Starting my clothing brand Rosemarie Sutherland Originals meant building a strong foundation for myself, and being able to share my love for fashion with the world.
